SELFROUTE GUIDES
Import your showing addresses. Plan the whole tour.
By the SelfRoute team at Lion Adv, Inc. · Updated October 18, 2026
SelfRoute is a real estate route planner for agents who drive a Tesla. Put showing addresses in appointment order, save a property tour, and send each destination to the car from iPhone or Apple Watch without entering it again in the vehicle.
Already have the addresses in a spreadsheet, ChatGPT, or Claude? Copy and paste one full address per line. Compatible software can import through the SelfRoute API. For direct AI imports, see the local MCP developer preview. Review your list before sending each next destination to Tesla.
How do you build a showing route?
- Gather the full address for every property and confirm each showing time in your scheduling system.
- Add or paste addresses into SelfRoute in the order you need to visit them.
- Save the route with a recognizable name, such as Saturday buyer tour.
- Review the list before leaving. Send the first property to Tesla navigation.
- After each visit, mark it complete and send the next property. Edit the remaining list if plans change.
Should you optimize a property tour?
Use manual order when you have fixed appointments. For flexible tours with 3–20 stops, you can preview a driving-time-based order and decide whether to apply it. SelfRoute does not book showings or verify appointment availability. A shorter driving order may not fit access windows, so keep your scheduling system as the source of truth.
Can your real estate CRM create the route?
A compatible CRM can send property addresses through SelfRoute’s route import API, directly or through a generic HTTP automation. The imported route appears in Saved routes. This is a configurable API integration rather than an out-of-the-box connector to every CRM or MLS. Your software must be able to supply the addresses and make the request.
For developers, start with the API documentation. Store the SelfRoute API key securely, include an idempotency key, and use a descriptive route name. Imported routes do not automatically send commands to the car; the agent reviews the list and chooses each destination.
Can you save and reuse tours?
Yes. Save an ordered route, edit its stops when a listing changes, or duplicate a previous route for a new tour. Up to 500 stops can be arranged manually, though a typical showing day will usually need far fewer. The planning limit is separate from the 3–20-stop optimization limit.
What does SelfRoute replace?
SelfRoute replaces repeatedly copying the next address into the car. It does not replace your CRM, showing scheduler, client communication tools, or Tesla’s in-car navigation. It sends one destination at a time, and the vehicle handles navigation for that leg.
What about client visits and service calls?
The same address-list workflow fits home inspections, client meetings, and service appointments. Keep appointment details in your business software and use SelfRoute for the ordered stops. Read the multi-stop planning guide for setup and vehicle limitations.
